Gilded River Custom Framing Partners with Iconic Sally's Apizza for Historic Framing Project in multiple locations.

Portchester, NY – 10-20-25 – Gilded River Custom Framing, a leading custom frame design studio known for preserving history and art, is thrilled to announce its partnership with the legendary New Haven pizza institution, Sally's Apizza. The collaboration involves a significant framing project to curate and install unique historical and local memorabilia for Sally's newest restaurant location in Dorchester, MA in the South Bay Center. Gilded River has previously provided framing for four other Sally’s locations, including Fairfield, CT in 2022, Wethersfield, CT in 2023, Woburn, MA in 2024, and Farmington, CT in early 2025.

The project, which was unveiled at the restaurant’s grand opening on September 30, 2025 aims to weave the rich, 80-year history of Sally's Apizza with social and cultural icons such as Martin Luther King, Jr., the Kennedy’s, Donna Summer, Culture Club, Boston, and Steve Miller. The project also includes historical shots of many large naval ships built in Dorchester.

The framed pieces will include a mix of:

• Historical Sally's Apizza memorabilia from the original New Haven location.
• Signed photos and records from Dorchester-born Donna Summer.
• Historical photos from many Dorchester-built naval vessels.

Gilded River Custom Framing is working closely with the Sally's Apizza team, who noted the importance of the restaurant's aesthetic. As cited in a presentation by Onyx Creative, who designs some Sally's locations, one of the three key brand features is the random assortment of wall memorabilia to connect back to the original space.
